she graduated! …high school here she comes

They did this cool thing; as each kid came up to get his certificate, they read a little bio on them.  It included the things they were involved in at school, their favorite moments from their time at Markham, the  person they admire the most and why, and what they see themselves doing in the future.  It was nice, because you know that these things can get boring, and this kept it interesting.  What was really nice was that Paige said that it was me that she admired the most, it was really sweet and meant a lot to me.

It was also entertaining to watch a bunch of these girls try to walk in heels for what must have been the first time!! hee hee

Good work Paige, you survived Junior High!!, for that alone, you deserve a ceremony and honors!!

Now on to high school…

FYI: I don’t agree with the fact that I have a daughter old enough to be in high school…

    I’m with you. I can’t possibly be old enough to have a daughter going to HS next year!!! Congrats to Paige. Ali is looking forward to HS. I’m looking forward to not having to drive anyone to any school for the first time in 5 years. YIPPEE! I love following your blogs you Porter girls. They are incredible!

    Paige is SO pretty!!!!!!!!!!!! Love the hair and all, what a GREAT look. She just gets prettier all the time.
    And yes, time is flying by… I can still VIVIDLY remember the day YOU graduated from jr. high. Wow.
